The President of China Life Doesn’t Know Its Plans for AIG

I had to post this as an addendum to my post s few days ago about China Life acquiring AIG’s Asian assets. Apparently the president of China Life, Miao Jianmin, said Tuesday he is unaware of any plan by the company to buy a stake in American International Group Inc. (AIG).
Hmm. Either something’s fishy or that anonymous “official” was talking out of his %**. Go figure.
