What this economy means for health insurance

In the past, people have been able to get their health insurance through their workplace. With smaller companies and the little amount of money that is coming in, many cannot afford to offer healthcare to their employees, or if they do, the employees would have to pay a tremendous amount of the premium, leaving many choosing the option of having no insurance. This article has all of the spending in 2008 and you can infer from that what to expect this year as far as coverage goes. It is so important to have health insurance, but if people keep taking jobs without benefits, less employers will be willing to give health insurance. We will see what kind of effect President Obama will have on this later on.
