Does Obama have his pet insured?

The new “First dog” has arrived, but is it insured? I wonder if the Obamas have given their pet everything that it needs to be fully cared for. With any purebred dog, there are a list of common problems that might occur during the dogs lifetime. Having pet owners insurace would be a good idea in this case. Will he get his pet insured? I wonder if the White House has its own pet insurance policy.
